Garage door panel replacement
A car backed into it, or a storm pushed it in. If the rest of the door is sound, one panel can save you a whole door. If the door is old, we'll tell you that too.
- On site: 1 to 2 hours, once the panel arrives
- License CGC15***68
Signs this is your problem
- One panel is dented, cracked or bowed.
- The door rubs or catches at the damaged section.
- Storm damage on one section only.
What we do
We read the manufacturer label on the door, find out if your panel is still made, and order the exact match: same model, color and wind rating. When it arrives we swap the section and rebalance the door.
The wind rating has to stay
Your door has a Florida Product Approval. A replacement panel has to keep it. A cheap panel without the rating can quietly cost you the opening-protection credit on your insurance.
When a panel isn't worth it
If the door is more than 15 years old, the panel may not be made anymore, and two panels can cost close to a new door. You'll get both options in writing.
Questions about panel replacement
One to two hours on site. The panel is ordered first and usually takes one to three weeks to arrive.
If the model is still made, yes. If it's discontinued, we'll tell you before you pay anything.
Door stuck right now?
Call or text and a person in Estero answers. We'll tell you if it's safe to touch, when we can be there and how long the fix usually takes, before anyone drives over.
